Vaping, or the use of e-cigarettes, has become an increasingly popular habit among young and old alike. However, while the effects of vaping on those younger than 18 are becoming increasingly well-understood, the impact of vaping on aging adults is not. Recent studies suggest that vaping may have serious effects on the aging body, increasing the risk of cancer, stroke and heart disease. Further, studies show that changes in blood pressure, oxygen flow and respiratory health may all be connected to vaping. Therefore, it is important for older adults to be aware of the potential negative impacts of vaping on their long-term health.
